Offered every Wednesday evening, from 6:15 - 7:00 PM in the sacred silence of the Sanctuary - a true mid-week respite.
Each week one of our Practitioners or Ministers will host the non-denominational meditation, and may offer a short reading, prayer, guided meditation and/or sacred music to lead us into 20-30 minutes of silence.
Please enter the sanctuary quietly, and arrive in time to be seated and settled before the meditation begins.
All are welcome.
"Messy Center" is our monthly multi-generational event for families consisting of one to many.
During our get together, we do a shared activity, have a potluck dinner and a spiritual discussion time.

Jorjan Sarich will be speaking on Zoroastrianism: Past, Present and Future.
Jorjan's academic background is in the Geography of Religion, focusing on the effective connections of people to their religions as wells as on the symbols, rituals and practices of daily life. She is presently working on her doctoral dissertation at University of California, Berkeley.
Zoroastrianism: Past, Present and Future
Past:
Why almost everything we understood about the history of Zoroastrianism is wrong.
Who was Zoroaster (Zarathushtra) and what did he do?
Present:
Daily life as a Zoroastrian in Uzbekistan: the ever-burning fire, tying and untying the kusti and why not to eat salad or bathe.
Life celebrations (toi) from birth (the besik) to death (the tower of silence (the dachma).
Future:
Is Zoroastrianism a dying religion as some authorities claim or will it persist?
