2-Evening Workshop facilitated by Sara Gorham
7-9 PM Sep 19 and Sep 26
$40 tuition - no one turned away for financial reasons
All of us, at some point in our lives, encounter challenge, and the big challenges - death, loss, illness, addiction, divorce - can threaten to overwhelm us and leave us wounded and diminished. But, while we might not choose our challenges, we do have a choice in how we respond to them. We can contract or we can expand. We can become bitter and frightened or we can grow through our challenges until we uncover the gift within the grief. In this class we will use the conceptual and the experiential to help us expand our understanding of what we are capable of learning and how we can use the wisdom, grace and compassion that challenges can teach us, to live a fuller, more joyful and more resilient life.
