Weddings & Commitment Ceremonies

Light on the Mountains Center for Spiritual Living is a perfect location for intimate weddings and commitment ceremonies of seventy people or less. Our beautiful sanctuary with its wonderful mountain views or our landscaped grounds are ideal settings for your special day. Our social hall is available for simple receptions following your ceremony. Alcoholic beverages may be served.

Rev. John or one of the other officiants associated with our center will be happy to assist you in creating a ceremony that will honor your personal beliefs and wishes. You are also welcome to have an officiant of your own choosing.

Use of our facility includes:

Rehearsal time the day before the ceremony
Access the day of the ceremony to decorate and do any other needed preparations
A set-up of chairs on our grounds for outside ceremonies
Use of other areas of our facility to dress or make other last minute preparations
A facility coordinator present to assist you
on the day of the ceremony
It is expected that you remove all decorations and items brought with you

Use Fee: $450 for up to three hours use
Use Fee does not include the honorarium for an officiant or cost of musicians

Receptions

Our 800 square foot social hall can accommodate intimate gatherings of seventy people or less for simple receptions.
You may have access to our kitchen and the use of plates, flatware, and beverage glasses.
Alcoholic beverages may be served.
It is expected that you remove all decorations and items brought with you

Facility Use Fee: $250 for up to three hours

Officiants

One of our officiants will guide you in creating a ceremony that is uniquely special to you. We recommend that you meet with him or her in person at least once to plan the ceremony, but arrangements can also be made by phone and e-mail.

Fee: $300 paid directly to the officiant

Our officiants are also available to perform ceremonies at any other location in the area.
The fee may be adjusted to take into account travel times and expenses.
